Originally designed by golf course guru Ted McAnlis, the 18-hole, par 72 layout was converted by Ron Garl in 2009 to a 120-acre expanse at the Drewrys Bluff of the Tara property into pristine links now considered as among Florida’s finest courses. According to the official statistics, the course yardage measures 6,845 from the longest tees and sports a 72.8 course rating and a 136 slope rating on Bermuda grass. The fast greens and challenging holes over scenic water hazards are among the acclaimed features of the course.
As part of the renovation process, the greens were completely revamped in conformance with USGA guidelines. New, environment-friendly features such as a modern irrigation system and conservation areas that reduce water usage have been implemented throughout the course. The Tara course is very golfer-friendly with practice facilities include putting greens and a driving range. The club also hosts regular league tourneys and special events for golfers of all ability levels.

Choose from either a class A or class B club membership when you purchase your property in the Tara golf community. Full privileges of golf and clubhouse amenities are for class A members. Class B members are entitled to privileges at the clubhouse, pool, fitness center, and tennis courts, with golf access at guest rates based on course availability.
