Shayla grew up in the small Wisconsin town of Stevens Point where she also attended college. After graduation in 2001, she moved to sunny Sarasota and began selling residential real estate in Sarasota and Manatee counties. It all started at RE/MAX Properties where she consistently won awards for top production. In August 2007, Shayla joined her colleague, Marc Rasmussen and moved to SKY Sotheby's International Realty. Subsequently they joined Michael Saunders and Company in 2008. Having worked at three of Sarasota's most prominent real estate brokerages, she is well-versed in the most effective, efficient and professional business practices. Marc formed DWELL Real Estate in October 2011 where they practice currently.
Specializing in Sarasota, Siesta Key, Longboat Key, Lido Key, Bird Key and the Lakewood Ranch areas, Shayla is a hard working sales professional dedicated to providing superior service. Her goal is to become "Your Realtor for Life" by providing assistance beyond the closing table.
