Siesta Key is a barrier island located in the southwestern end of the Florida gulf coast. Because of its eight-mile long shores, Siesta Key has become one of the most frequented destinations by visitors from the United States and the world. It is to no surprise that real estate properties have been developed in this barrier island to accommodate home buyers and investors interested in vacation homes or permanent residences. Provincial Gardens Villas is one of the premium properties in the Siesta Key area built in the mid 1960s along Midnight Pass Road, a major thoroughfare in the island. Its location affords residents fabulous gulf-to-bay vistas characteristic of island resort living.
Provincial Gardens is a tranquil complex comprising of charming villas as well as condo residences with floor plans stretching from 755 to 1,025 square feet of living space. Owners enjoy a private, deeded, and direct access to the Crescent Beach, a more secluded beach in the Siesta Key Island with the same fine and white quartz sands. Inside the property are amenities that include a community swimming pool and a boat dock.
Further down south of the complex is Point of Rocks, a scuba diver’s haven featuring limestone rock formations that invite an overflow of colorful marine species. The underwater views in this area is definitely a must-see as it has been well preserved and protected. Beyond the Point of Rocks is Turtle Beach, another one of the popular beaches in the Siesta Key Island, which is popular among seashell collectors. Other amenities in the beach area include picnic groves, playgrounds, a boat launch, and a fishing lagoon.
Residents of the Provincial Gardens may take a short stroll and visit the Crescent Plaza where a number of shopping and dining establishments abound. A local drug store and post office are also found in this town plaza. Mainland Florida is not far off, being only a short bridge away from the Provincial Gardens complex via Stickney Point Bridge. The nearest city residents may explore is downtown Sarasota, a city that is full of life with commercial centers such as Westfield Sarasota Square Mall, St. Armand’s Circle, and the Ringling Museum of Art.
