The Florida peninsula has a lot to boast. One of them is the beautiful eight-mile long barrier island of Siesta Key. Since the late 70s, condominium properties have been developed, adding variety to the list of Florida real estate properties for sale. Home buyers and investors have grown to love the condominium property choices in the Siesta Key Island. One of the most distinguished options is The Pointe Condos, a condo complex consisting of two mid-rise buildings with a total of 61 condominium residences.
The Pointe condominium community was built in 1975. The property faces the east, affording its residents stunning bay-to-gulf vistas, which is one of the major attractions of the barrier island. Condos in The Pointe have floor plans that stretch from 778 to 1,380 square feet in size in two-bedroom and two-bathroom configurations. Other facilities in The Pointe Condos include tennis courts, fitness center with sauna, swimming pool, boat docks, and picnic areas. There is an in-house library as well as a meditation garden for those who prefer some peace and quiet.
Residents of The Pointe condos will enjoy proximity to one of Siesta Key’s top three beaches, the Turtle Beach. It is a popular beach for seashell collecting along with a number of facilities such as a boat launch, volleyball court, horseshoe pit, playgrounds, and picnic groves. Adjacent to Turtle Beach is Blind Pass Lagoon, a favorite among fishing aficionados.
A short distance away is Crescent Beach, another favorite among Siesta Key visitors. It offers a more secluded experience compared to the internationally-acclaimed Siesta Public Beach.
There are two nearby town centers from The Pointe complex namely, Crescent Village and Siesta Village. A number of quaint local establishments for shopping as well as dining occupy the plazas. One of the most popular is Javier’s Restaurant and Wine Bar, which offers a fabulous Peruvian café experience. For delicious sandwiches, Anna’s Deli tops the list.
Residents of The Pointe who would like to take advantage of downtown Sarasota’s urban delights can just hop on their cars and drive through Stickney Pointe Bridge, which is one of two causeways that connect Siesta Key Island to mainland Florida. Some of the popular attractions in Sarasota City are St. Armand’s Circle, Westfield Sarasota Square Mall, Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, Sarasota Opera House, and the Ringling Museum of Art.
