Palmer Ranch, the largest master planned real estate development in Sarasota Florida, started building about 33 years ago in the Country Club of Sarasota. Originally developed in the early 1900’s by Bertha Honore Palmer, today’s development occupies 10,500 acres of the historical Palmer Ranch. Newer developments such as Prestancia began production in the mid 1980’s. Palmer Ranch has amassed 30 stunning neighborhood subdivisions (many of them offer gated security) in the last three decades of growth the club has seen as a modern residential development.
