Internationally recognized by Audubon International for its environmental excellence, the Misty Creek Country Club in Sarasota Florida was conscientiously planned to follow its terrain’s natural topography. It is the only golf course in Southwest Florida with fairways bordered on either sides by thick vegatation and towering oak forests. It is a wildlife preserve, home to America’s majestic bald eagles.
The Misty Creek complex is located in Sarasota and occupies 780 acres of land area. The residential neighborhood within the Mistry Creek estate comprises of 302 single family home units in a gated enclave within the lavish landscape of the 350-acre of golf course. Misty Creek has been alternately named as “The Preserve” as it has meticulously incorporated its lakes, wetlands, and forests in its architectural layout. A variety of wildlife species including alligators, sandhill cranes, red-tailed hawks, bald eagles, wild boars, and bobcats have found a peaceful haven in the dense forests of the Misty Creek.
