Decorated Combat Veteran of the Afghanistan War

Originally from Kentucky, John Wilcher made Sarasota, Florida, his home in 2000. He was drawn to the area because of its great beauty, fabulous beaches, ample supply of sunshine and superior quality of life. In 2001, John decided that he could help others live a similar lifestyle and decided to pursue a career in real estate.

With 10 years of real estate experience in the Sarasota area, he has an intimate knowledge of the neighborhoods and locales that this fabulous paradise has to offer.  John was previously with RE/MAX Excellence, where he consistently won awards for top sales production. He has a sincere passion for helping buyers and sellers through the real estate sales process.

Integrity, great communication and professionalism are very useful during a real estate transaction. John polished these skills while serving in the armed forces. He has an impressive history of being a Marine, Army Sergeant, and police officer, as well as a decorated combat veteran of the Afghanistan war. This extensive training has prepared John to handle the sometimes intense world of the buying or selling of a home. 

If you ask John to name his greatest achievement that would be easy - his wife and two children. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and is very active in sports and fitness.
