This Website's New Look

How do you like this new website? I redirected my old website www.thesarasotamls.com to this domain name and website. I will continue add information about Sarasota real estate and surrounding areas. I have received feedback from a few of you. Any other feedback is appreciated.

One thing I miss in your new site is the display by condo community. For example in the old site when you went to Lido Condos it had them displayed by condo community; such as Key Tower South; L'Elegance; Lido Beach Club; etc. wwith a commentary on each building/community. Thought that was a nice feature that you might want to include in your new site; which by the way is very good.

Hi John,

Thanks for the feedback. I plan to have information about condo communities. Will take a little time.

This web site looks better and more up to date in design standards. However it is missing the most valuable features that the old one had - the exact information on user request. For instance the old one would display all Lido key homes, even if some where below $500k, but would not show properties not from lido key. This new one would show Lido and other properties if you click on Lido, but won't show houses on Lido below 500k. I mean the info on new web site is not correct. Same with condos. If user selects Lido, the web site must not include any other properties, but Lido and St. Armands. I hope the new web site will be fixed, otherwise it feels like user is assumed as a fool.

Thanks for the feedback Alina. I am working on those issues with Lido Key. All of the other areas are accurate. Our Association joined the Mid Florida MLS which changed proeprty queries to zip codes. Lido Key is difficult to show because it is in the same zip code as Bird Key and downtown Sarasota. That issue will be corrected shortly. If you click on the pre-arranged searches at the bottom of the home page for Lido Key you see what is for sale on the island.

You are on my short list of other agents to watch. Your websites, both of them, have always been informative and insightful. Finding the time to write relevant content is always tough but you have a great conversational style and are always trying to educate the viewer. I am producing a report in Atlanta that I will shoot to you as soon as it is finished and will post it on my website.. You might find it interesting and I would appreciate your feedback on content..

According to your website there are no condos for sale in downtown Sarasota under $500k. The other site was MUCH better.

Hi Mark - You are probably already aware that when you go to:
http://www.luxurysarasotarealestate.com/l-elegance.php
The results only show three listings when other sources (not your site) show 5 listings for L'Elegance. Presumably the MLS problem you have alluded to.

Thanks for the comment. Changes have been made to the page. http://www.luxurysarasotarealestate.com/l-elegance.php

Some agent used "L ' Elegance" while other used 'L' Elegance on Lido Beach'. That is a problem with the new MLS unfortunately. There used to be only one name for a subdivision or condo building. Now there can be several which makes it difficult to slice the data. What other websites are showing 5? I am not finding them.

Please disregard my previous post today. The site appears to now be working properly relative to L'Elegance listings. Six now appear.
