Siesta Key

This barrier island has one of the pretties beaches in the world. The sand on Siesta Key beach is made up of 99% quartz which feels very refreshing on the skin. This is much more laid back island and not as pristine as Longboat Key. There are a myriad of home and condo options on the island. If you would rather where a Tommy Bahamas shirt, shorts and flip flops to dinner than this might be the right island for you.

Lido Key

This island sits between Longboat Key and Siesta Key and is located within 5 minutes of downtown Sarasota. It is also home to the fun destination spot of St. Armands Circle. Here you can find ice cream shops, out door cafe's, day spas, shopping and bars. This is a fun place to hang out with friends and family.

Bird Key

Are you boaters and need some good water? This might be the best spot for you. This neighborhood of just over 500 homes is convenient to beaches, golf courses and all of the amenities of Sarasota. Currently, waterfront homes on Bird Key are starting at over $1 million.

Casey Key

Need to get away from the hustle and bustle? This is a great island to escape the day to day grind. Some of the most expensive homes are located on Casey Key. There are numerous beachfront and bayfront estates on Casey Key. In late 2009 there was a $9.9 million sale. 

Lakewood Ranch

Do you like newer homes? There are plenty of them in this master planned community. Located just east of I-75 and sitting on the county line. It is a very well laid out community with numerous golf courses, sidewalks, shopping and restaurants. It is roughly about 20-25 minutes away from the beach.
