Home Sales Strong in Sarasota

The Sarasota Herald Tribune reports today that home sales are strong in this area. Here are highlights of the article:

Home sales in Southwest Florida soared during June, rising 35 percent in Sarasota-Bradenton and 44 percent in Charlotte County-North Port.
June was the fourth straight month that sales topped the 1,000 mark in the Sarasota-Bradenton market.
The median sales price of $170,400 in Sarasota-Bradenton was a 5 percent increase from a year ago and up 2.4 percent from May, according to data released Thursday by Florida Realtors.
