It is important to know the market before you take the plunge and buy a home. Viewing what similar properties have recently sold for will help you get a better understanding of the market. Afterall, an appraisal is based on what three similar properties have recently sold for.
Take a look at the photos below. This home on Lido Key just sold in March. It had 3 bathrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and 2,371 square feet.

The Answer!
184 Whittier Drive sold for $1,000,000. The last and original listing price was $1,075,000. The home was on the market 117 days prior to receiving the successful contract.
Thank you to everyone for leaving a comment. It looks like Brian Dunn and Ron Bianchi were the closest. With Mary Jane and Akmal Khan very close.
And by the way, I am not trying to imply that the buyer paid too much or the seller did not get enough for the house. This is meant to be a fun and educational exercise. The sales price of any property is public record and can easily be found with a little sniffing around on the Sarasota county website.

My guess is $545,000. Did not see pictures of kitchen, there is no pool......Just saw Lido Shores home w/ 4Bdrm, 2 full baths, 1 3/4 bath, & 1/2 bath new kitchen, great heated pool, owner would gladly take $545,000.
