Like large lots with mature, lush landscaping and trees? Take a drive through the very desireable subdivision of Ashley in east Sarasota. This is one of my favorite neighborhoods. One complaint I hear frequently from buyers is that the newer neighborhoods have small lots and lack any large trees and lush landscaping. In Ashley you can have a home built in the 1990's as well as a large lot and shady trees. The newer homes offer high ceilings, grand entrances, open floor plans, plenty of windows and natural light.  Put Ashley on your list of neighborhoods to consider if you want a large estate sized lot with a fabulous home built in the 1990's.
