Some of the best restaurants in Sarasota are located on St. Armand's Circle. Walking distance from Lido Beach. Great, ecclectic, and unique shopping on the circle as well.
Parking.
St. Armand's Circle is a great place to live if you want to be near lots of things to do. It's one of the most picturesque places to walk around in Florida too, with all the beautiful homes.
I don't live there but I would love to. Classy shopping area. Love the great restaurants.
Finding a parking spot in the winter stinks. Need more parking.
One of the best places to enjoy in SRQ
Made a few trips out there recently ... Had the best shrimp salad at lunch at Cafe l 'Europe , and for great quality swims uit look to Aqua swim ware..all kinds for all body types (:
If relatives come to Sarasota this is where you want to take them. Great shopping, restaurants, a few steps from the beach, drinks & sunsets.

Great spot to hang out. Would love to live near St. Armands Circle.
St. Armands offers year-round attractions, shopping, dining. Music festivals, art shows, - there is truly something for everyone. My favorite spot on St. Armands is The Met. Their store downstairs is fabulous but their spa upstairs is the best in the Sarasota area. New restaurant Shore Diner is also a must-visit!
During the height of tourist season traffic can get a bit heavy. Mostly because people can't navigate a circle :)
Great place to enjoy some of the best things Sarasota has to offer.
What is not to love? We can walk right out our front door and be on the circle in about 5 minutes and Lido Key beach in about the same time. I cannot think of a better place to live in Sarsota, Florida. It is the best.

Mark- we love your website and blog. Thank you for the updates. St. Armands Circle is one of the best places to live.
Walk to the beach. Walk to food and drinks. Need I say more? Fun atmosphere.
Tourists - Love and hate them
I'm never moving from St. Armands.
St. Armands Circle is a fun destination to eat, drink, grab an ice cream or shop. This is a great location if you want to live a walkable lifestyle. It is also a relatively short walk to Lido Key beach. Downtown Sarasota is only a few miles away with other amenities like shopping, medical facilities, schools, movies, golf and everything else within a relatively short drive.
Not many. It can get a little busy around the circle. Lots of car traffic so some might not consider it family friendly.
I lived there a long time ago and would love to live there again.
